This new home build is designed in a tasteful, traditional Hamptons style, replete with unique touches that ground it in the Australian country.
The new home exhibits a great use of timber posts which are both functional stylish, and a Hardie’s linear cladding on the external facade of the home. Timber windows with Low E glazing for thermal comfort make the exterior look great, but are also in keeping with the Hamptons style and overall country feel of the house.
The brief for this build was to create an inviting family home that is both comfortable and functional enough to have a large, busy family live in, while still looking elegant and inviting enough to be considered a premier entertaining residence.
Inside, the home has beautiful wide floor boards with a spacious open-tread timber stair case.
The internal stairwell features a touch of modern glass to keep the inside feeling as spacious as possible, with a semi-frameless glass rail and the top rail matching the floor timber to tie the stairs to the overall theme of the interior.
The bathrooms are finished floor-to-ceiling in a natural-looking ceramic tile that presents like real stone, and the traditional feel is completed with a modern, country-style bath.
