Heritage Home

This stunning transformation saw the classic 1970’s style home turned into a federation home, making the most of the original features while upgrading and totally re-styling the property. Authentic original features such as the leadlight windows were kept, and augmented with modern touches that pay credence to the federation style while maintaining an open, functional and stylish space throughout. The modern, open-plan living space at the back of the house sits behind the gorgeous period-style front façade, lending function to fashion. We had to work closely with the owners and council in order to keep everyone happy, with the front period design requiring a fine balance in order to comply with council setback laws. The result was worth the effort though, as you can see!
