This large renovation completely changed the look and feel of the home, opening up new spaces and making the most of the beautiful outdoors native bush aspect. Extensive and intricate work took place to open up the main living spaces and incorporate high ceilings, and work was carried out to strengthen and straighten the existing structure. Large alfresco doors are specially designed to tuck away into the walls, completely opening up the outdoor entertaining area and paying tribute to the natural bush outlook. The master bedroom features glazing on two sides, again opening up the expansive bush views, the dam, and local wildlife. The home also has 20 solar panels on different planes to catch as much sunlight as possible, which was tricky but effective. Ultimately, the use of solid, beautiful timber complimented by travertine tiling and natural stone makes this home blend perfectly with the natural surrounds giving it a warm, timeless, and classy feel.
