Building Sydney’s Finest Homes for Over 30 Years

Specialising in custom homes, renovations and first-floor additions throughout Sydney’s most desirable suburbs.

Built on Detail, Driven by Design

A look behind the work, the people, and the homes that define Turrell.

Over three decades, we’ve learned that the best custom homes aren’t just well-built: they’re deeply personal. Most of our work involves extensions, additions, and complex renovations, so we approach every project with respect for what’s already there. New spaces are designed to feel natural, not forced. Every detail considered. Every finish chosen to last, not just to impress. It’s a standard that comes from experience, but more importantly, from genuine pride in the craft.

Estimated construction period was 6 months & everything pretty much ran to schedule. We were very impressed at the time with the quality of the workmanship & attention to detail. The house is now so liveable & functional thanks to the ideas & suggestions from Neil & his team. Their experience certainly shines through.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. In May 2023 my partner and I purchased 38 Calabash Road in Arcadia. The Hampton's style designed home appealed to us both aesthetically and structurally. It came as a surprise to find out the first floor addition had been constructed only the year before by Turrell Building as it integrated so perfectly with the existing home. The design, workmanship and finish throughout is flawless and of the highest quality. We had not previously been aware of Turrell Building but can highly recommend them not only as exceptional builders but also delightful people to deal with. Neil and his team have gone to great lengths to assist and communicate with us in our new adventure. Their warranty service is impeccable. We can honestly say, given our experience Turrell Building would without doubt be our first choice if we were to build today. Well done!! Vaughan Lawrence J.P.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Neil with his team did a great job integrating an Alfresco area to our house with quality inclusions and the finer details were looked after. Inclusions like quality Cedar sliding doors, recycled telegraph poles for support posts and rangehoods for BBQ vented outside with Velux sky lights. Their work has added value to our overall house whilst making it a great place to hang out with family and friends. Any issues post the build they were quick to follow up and ensure everything was all ok.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. In my initial meeting with Neil I was impressed by not only his honesty, professionalism and industry experience but how he knew how important it was for me to build my dream home within budget! Neil is passionate about his work and I really appreciated his open communication and feedback, always putting us first and making sure we were happy every step of the way. With the guidance of Turrell's Interior Designer Sharon, she made the colour selection process and all those decisions so much easier to make and I am really grateful that I was given the opportunity to have her services throughout the building process. The construction phase was flawless, our Construction Manager Josh was outstanding and his attention to detail and communication through the build was excellent. Josh and his team hold themselves to a very high standard of workmanship and honestly treated the build of my house like it was their own. We love our new house, thanks again Neil for making it all happen I couldn't be happier!
